I don't know why I think this one is so funny. You call the story

The plane Brian Williams used when he covered Custer at Little Big Horn.
Yeah, he tried to go under cover in a Piper Cherokee. But a Piper Warrior spotted him and shot him full of Piper Arrows. :)

With a high capacity quiver.

If said quiver had been limited to five arrows, the damage would have been far less.

And this case is a good argument against semi automatic bows.

I bet some of the shooters bought or traded for them at the infernal Fort NBC bow and arrow show?

We really need background checks and bow registration along with quiver limits and blunt tipped arrows.

"Ahh, yes I remember it well. There I was running through the field, holding on to my fedora, with an angry mob of Hovitos chasing me." Then I yelled, "Start the engine, Jock!!!" Did I mention, "I hate snakes!"

I can't come up with anything witty right now but this is just too funny. Thanks Ya'll.

"We really need background checks and bow registration along with quiver limits and blunt tipped arrows".....more so the danger from fully automatic forked tongue of unregistered white eyes

That's a Cherokee six that was obviously flown over Comanche territory. Piece of cake for the Comanche, they have retractable gear and are much faster. I'm not sure but those look a lot like Piper Arrows in that Cherokee. Lucky he didn't have a Piper Apache, those were pretty slow and didn't handle well on one engine. For sure it would be a good idea for Williams to stay out of the high lands, those Pipers will do him in and if they don't the Haggis certainly will.

"And there I was, completely surrounded," the story begins. "And that ain't no lie!," the story concludes. You fill in the rest of it. ;)

While I am not filling in the caption, I thought this was good. I don't know if this has already been posted but I saw it on another forum and thought I would pass it along. :P
