Given our 'fantastic' weather lately my dog was about to drive me crazy to get out of the house and stretch her legs a smidge. That usually means throwing a few guns in the truck and heading to the property for an afternoon and that's just what we did! It was cold & wet but still enjoyed just being outside to walk around.

I recently 'rediscovered' my 1947 K22 purchase that has been stored away since I bought it. Still got some work to do but it isn't the guns fault! This was off hand at 15 yards:

Picked up this 1894C back early December and hadn't even gotten to shoot it. The gun is far from mint but that doesn't bother me either. Just like the other 357's I have owned this one shot a ragged hole at 50 yards. This one will be my keeper :)

The star of the show yesterday was the new to me 32 H&R Cowboy. My first 10 shots were great, I'm going to need some more ammo to get it better though.

As you can see, Annie isn't overly amused with my shooting. She does find the mud my shots were kicking up entertaining, however.

The last break in for the day was this Ruger 44 Carbine I picked up first of January in a trade. Always wanted one but never shot one. It left the big holes in the 32's target :)

That was pretty much it for shooting. Liked the little Ruger so much I loaded it up and we went to walk fences for a while. Annie loves sticking her nose on the deer tracks and chasing them all over.

Even found a nice stump for some scenic Ruger shots:

Then we just piled in and headed for the house. Hope ya'll enjoyed the photos!

Nice shooting indeed. Nice guns too. And a mighty fine looking dog. I can tell that Annie is very special to you. I wish I had a place for a large dog but where we live we are limited to two very small house dogs (read that as two very small lap dogs). Enjoyed the photos. Thanks for posting.

Thanks! If you get the chance it's a really nice shooter.

I do appreciate it! Unfortunately miss Annie over did it yesterday, as she's got a hitch in her giddy up today. Hopefully a day or two's bed rest does her good if not it's to the vet! Fast as dogs go large or small life would be really boring without them.
