I was in a local gun shop and they were busy ordering ammo. They told me that in May ammo prices will increase by 20% and they were ordering so they would have plenty to offer at old prices. I guess I`ll get busy and order some to store. Here we go again, whats next...

Cost me $57.xx to fill my car up again yesterday, too...

Isn't it amazing how the gas prices and metal market prices seem to be joined at the hip? Or that we're being gouged on everything?

As a metals investor of years, I can say that overall the metals market rides the same roller coaster as the economy.
All the metals are higher than hell right now.
I bought silver just a handful of years ago for less than $7 an ounce.
I sold what I had end of last year for somewhere near $25 an ounce and todays current spot price is around $30/ounce. ( http://www.kitco.com/ )

There are other factors, for certain, supply and demand have a freaky effect at times, see a 10 year Rhodium chart to see what I mean, but as a general rule if metals prices are high prices are high on just about everything and the economy is struggling to some degree.

Our current gas prices at sky high levels are directly related by closing the Gulf to oil production. That coupled with untold amounts of regulation regarding drilling all over the country and we are not only paying a premium for this but financing our sworn enemies at an exorbitant rate.

We need to DRILL and let the Arabs sell their oil for half the price elsewhere. We simultaneously will reduce our dependency on foreign oil and reduce their incomes at a VERY good time. The dollar will also benefit as will our whole economy.
