Amazing new song from an old artist

I don't usually put music on the Forum because it's such a personal taste. Next month this singer will be 81 years old, and you've known him forever. He's doing like Santana did with Supernatural in collaborating with other known artists to come up with a unique sound. I havn't bought a new album since '07, but I might buy this one after listening to several songs.

Amazing! I'd have NEVER guessed the singer, and got the guitar player wrong at first. Had to cheat before a little "family resemblance" from his other work came out. That's quite a list of "friends" on the album cover, no?

I sure miss that kind of music on the radio.All you hear around here is country? singers who all sound alike,or some kind of something I don't know what it is.
We do like to watch the Masked Singer on TV,but are not mainstream enough to guess any of them. I told the bride that that kind of show would not have worked 30 years ago because the artists had a unique identifiable sound back then.

Dion and the Belmonts played some of my favorite old songs back in the 50s and early 60s. I sure do miss those days. We were the luck ones we got to hear all the old great bands and singers. They don't make'em like that anymore.
