ALANGATOR 10/22 Mag Coupler

If you have one, please share your thoughts on its practical application of the Alangator Magazine and ease of use with the Ruger Charger.

Are they worth the money?
What is the least expensive source to acquire them?

I had several at one time, and they are useful to have three loaded mags handy without need of a belt pouch... but I found I fumbled less with two 10 rounders back-to-back, and I wasn't crazy about the way the tri-mag stuck out to the sides... so I sold mine.

i use one in my 10/22 and find it to be outstanding...it also serves as a hand grip if need be...

I have two. Have not had the 10/22 out since I got them. They look cool and fit better than the BX-25 with five more rounds. Seems like it makes sense.

Ive got three in the other day...thinking they would work well in my takedowns...with 9 mags...the less I have to load

while im out shooting the better I figure...but Have not used them...still waiting ona 5 mag order some day it will arrive...

Ive heard nothing but great words about it...and if your in a state that can't have those extended mags...three 10s on one alan..is the deal

I have one for my Charger, and it works great. I keep dust covers on the two exposed mags. My Axium stock is tight and it is hard to remove a single 10-round mag, and I dont like the long 25-rounders on it as much as my rifles.

Does the weight of the loaded mags affect the guns balance or is it not really noticeable?

Weight wasn't an issue for me, just the width of the bottom "wing" (two mags).

I like using mine either on the bench or afield, very handy. Also helps keep the rifle from rolling on its side when set down on the bench.

Almost everything else is less in the way than the BX25s. :mrgreen:

The MWGs are great mags too, but...

I respectfully disagree since I deal with normal 10/22's, not that type of thing. The BX-25 is in the way on a regular 10/22 rifle I should say.

BX-25s actually feel right with this one. :wink:

With Tri-mag installed...

Used those couplers today and they were fantastic...not a single problem and I shot3 groups of three...couple of hundrewd rounds of 22lr winchesters...I like them better than the banana clips...they are more compact and out of the way for one thing...and for another.....Im in Maryland and can't get them LOLOL. They worked great!

Well, she got out and did splendidly...zeroed her in licky split...on paper right away...thanks to the SL100...great bore sighter...then some adjustments on the leupold..and man that was sweet She was shooting the caps off bottles at over 100 feet Great day to be out in the woods...60ish and sunny...at the end of the day, took out the Kahr K-9 and it sounded and felt like a cannon compared to the 10-22TakeDown...what fun))Best reason for my scope is its powerfull and it fits into the ruguer bag without having to take her apart...shes always zeroed in now...no changes no matter how many times I took her apart and put her together
