I wonder whether the target sights were put on after Al Capone owned the pistol. I don't know when Micro and Bomar sights became available, but I suspect it was quite a bit later than the Capone era.

The video said that there sights were probably put on by Capone's son, Sonny. Sonny was a competition shooter.
