Women often bring up how painfull childbirth is.

Men say a solid kick in the groin has to be worse.

A recent poll, taken among women of childbearing age, indicates over 50% of them plan to have another child.

But did you ever hear a man say that he'd like to be kicked in the groin again?

You dont know what pain is until you try to pass a kidney stone. Years ago I seen a interview with Alex Karass. The interviewer asked him what was the worst pain he ever experienced. Cracked me up when he said Hemorrhoids.

AMEN! Kidney stones have often been compared to childbirth... I've had no experience with childbirth, but I'll take a swift kick in the nutz over kidney stones ANY day!

I have women patients that had both, say they would take childbirth over kidney stones any day.

Guess I'm tougher than I thought - I toughed out a kidney stone without any pain meds! To be completely honest, kidney stones come in various sizes - and mine was about 5mm. Still was big enough for me!

Though I have never experienced either, most would choose the pain of childbirth or passing a kidney stone to the pain associated with the debridement process. It is not uncommon for patients to request a bullet as opposed to enduring the pain associated with the procedure. Takes a special kind of person to work in a burn ward.

Yeah, that sounds about right! But I did manage to impress the smoking hot nurse I had....

Me too, and doctors have said gout is far more painful than child birth.

.

I've have/had gall stones, kidney stones, a diseased gall bladder, neuropathy, papillary thyroid cancer, abdominal surgery, a heart attack, cardiac stents and more - but, the time that I had a stray twig drive into my eye, between the socket & the eyeball, abrading the eyeball, was more pain over a few weeks than most of the other pains, together.

I just had a hip replaced last week. The doctor said on a scale of 1-10 What was my level of pain. I said kidney stones are a ten everything else is minor
