came up in a previous thread not so long ago about 22 Hornet bullets at high speed...I mention that I use some old Sierra 45gr Hornet bullets in 223 Rem at 3100 fps and they did fine. I made up 20 rounds with the velocity bumped up to 3400 fps just to try to find the limits for my rifle and loandbehold 3 of 20 never hit the target. I am shooting range rats at 100 yds that make a dust cloud when you hit the target so there is no mistaking the results. I guess I could bump up the speed to 3600 and play games on my shooting partner...
