I was returning from my LGS yesterday after picking up the 327 Blackhawk I obtained through the Forum.
I was around noon so I called the wife, whom is housebound from a knee replacement, about some lunch. She said to just stop by McDonalds and grab some burgers.
This McDonalds just completed a major renovation, and it was my first time back.
They installed 6 ordering kiosks ( job killers) that you order from and get a order ticket.
My order number, at the top of the ticket, was a big bold 327.
So, can we interpret that as " Well done aquiring the Blackhawk, or,
"Go forth and acquire another".

Just a little FYI, McDonalds corporation makes large donations to gun control efforts and candidates like Obama and Hillary, your stomach, do what you want but I think it is worth considering where your meal money goes

Very good point !

Bad news on their anti stance, doesn't surprise me.
Don't usually go there but the wife wanted a burger and it was close.
I guess next time I'll go down the road to Burger King, but their politics probably aren't much better.
And I'm looking for the next 327. :)

I was not aware of their anti gun efforts, but honestly I stopped going very often at all about 5 years ago. I was tired of being treated badly despite going out of my way to be friendly. I'm sure there are good people working there, but very few at my local Mcdonalds. I love the food as much as the next guy but their service turned me off from them. I don't like to be made to feel like I'm bothering someone just for placing an order.

Ever notice that their fake food never looks like the pictures on the wall?

Everytime. Wendy's in my opinion is the worst offender in this area. If they made their burgers the way they looked in their pictures, they'd be the number 1 fast food chain in the country. Instead you get something that looks like it's been backed over by a truck. And I've given them a chance. I went weeks at two different stores.

I challenge any man to present me with a photo of something they've ordered from Wendy's that actually looks like this. :D This is the Dave's Double.... allegedly. 810 calories btw.

I don't understand your point.

Democrats are insisting minimum wages should be $15.00 an hour, so why wouldn't businesses like McD's go for automation vs. minimum wage earners?

If I was a business owner and couldn't pay more than minimum wage to my employees, I'd do everything I could in order to automate...

At least robots don't enhance your order with bodily fluids.

My point is that every time a self checkout or self order kiosk goes in
less employees are needed.
That's all I'm pointing out, and understanding the economics from both angles.
And I wish I could look for that 327 Chevy. :)

when I see fast food counter people picketing and screaming "I deserve $15 an hour" they just lost my support. Now it seems they are losing their jobs too. Guess they couldn't see that coming.
