Thought I would post this. It is probably old news for y'all but it was new to me.
Cleaning silver: Take 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 cups of boiling water. Line a bowl with aluminum foil shiny side up. Put what you want to clean into the bowl and pour the solution over it. Let sit until the water has cooled down. Wipe it down with a clean cloth under running water to rinse.
I did some old belt buckles and am completely amazed at how well this worked.
