Now this is my kind of Fishing.
Farm Raised Mississippi Catfish with a Blackened Fish Spices and Broiled.
Of course you have to have some Large Gulf of Mexico Seasoned and Grilled Shrimp on top and a side of spicy Jasmine Rice Pilaf

Try that catfish with a couple of ladles of crawfish etouffe on top. So good it will make your tongue will beat your brains out.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh Yea hard to go wrong with anything with crawfish in it. I also do a crawfish cream sauce that I put on the Grilled Catfish, Salmon, Cod and Angel Hair Pasta.

When I was a kid my dad smoked carp. Fresh and hot out of the smoker it was as good as lobster. It was fun spearing them when they ran up the creek every spring. Many would get them with bow fishing.

I bought a bag of frozen shrimp recently, peeled and deveined. It didn't look all that good, and even worse when I got home.

I read the package: "Farm raised......."

"................In India."

I took it back and got my money back.

Yep I would have done the same thing. We do not buy any imported shrimp except for the pink shrimp, which is very good, from Argentina. I also don't buy US farm raised shrimp or shrimp from the locals selling out of the back of their pickups.
I don't buy so called Atlantic Salmon which is BAD farmed raised. The only Salmon I buy is Alaskan Sockeye Salmon.
It is a shame that most of the Seafood in the local markets is imported and we live on the Gulf Coast

Not a big fan of farm-raised seafood here. Fish should eat other fish, not food pellets. It just doesn't seem or taste the same.
