Ever sit here and think, "man, I wish I could have gotten one of those".... Then you send one email, get a phone number and the next thing you know it's sitting in your living room?

First off; the thanks... Lee and the Potato Farmer (Terry). Wow guys... Thanks Ton!!!

Here's the new toy they hooked me up with: Ruger No. 1 in .303 Brit. The wood is not exceptional, yet not boring; but I don't think (at least I hope), there isn't going to be much choice in the matter.

But to be humbly honest, I'm just happy to have the opportunity to own this rifle and to have dealt with Lee and Terry. Both of these gentlemen are great people and I couldn't thank them enough!!!

How many of these are gonna be made and is there an exclusive distributor dong them? What seems to be going price?

Hey bp,

Rumor is 13 to 23 of the RSI models were made up as an "employee run" and no more will be made. The No.1 in .303 is available right now in 1A configuration. I had hoped Ruger would have released the RSI as a regular or even Lipseys run so I could take one to Africa later this year. I'm sure "singleshot" or "prowler" would let me take their RSI's to Africa, but I'd hate to put the first scratch in 'em. (just funnin' fellas) :D :D :D

Hope that helps bp and I hope you can find one!!!

Aren't you forgetting the intermediate step that starts with

"Honey! I found a rifle that I would like to buy."

and ends with

"I don't think so."

I took a chance and skipped that step and went to, "um, I, um, ordered a rifle a couple days ago". This was said outside of arms reach and near a door
