90gr Lehigh's @ 1,500fps. 3-4moa from a pocket pistol!!!
Yes it is. The Dagger has been a bit of a disappointment accuracy wise with the extended threaded barrel. I have a $20 Black Friday special standard barrel I'm going to try. I was extrapolating 3/4"+- to 3-4moa. 5.6gr Universal behind a 90gr Lehigh for about 1,500fps and ludicrous accuracy. It just doesn't get any better than that. Yes almost exactly the size of the P11 plus the dot.Looks like the Subbie is dialed in. IIRC that should also be the POI at about 100 yards.
Is the spread with the Dagger due to ammo or is it the gun?
Nice tight group with the pocket pistol. LOL, I had to go google the Max 9, I haven't kept up with Ruger semi autos. That's about the same size as the P11, isn't it?
I get 2,100fps in my Bond Arms. Velocity is worthless without accuracy. None of my guns were more than marginally accurate with the 68gr. So far 2 of my guns really like the 90's at 1,500fps. By normal standards the Dagger has more than adequate accuracy with everything I've put through it but compared to others that are 2-4 times as accurate it doesn't quite make the cut. I'm pretty sure if I step up to 120ish gr it will reign in the rest of my guns but the velocities will be more pedestrian. 6" at 25yds is average for most guns and available ammo but when the other 2 including a pocket pistol are doing under an inch well it's comparatively it's inadequate.Every report I have seen on the daggers has been negative. There is a thread on arfcom where a fella has 68 grain Lehighs going close to 2000fps in 9mm
