What should a mint condition 96 in 44 Magnum bring in your area?

Never seen one in "mint" condition, but 98% or better guns (which most folks would consider pretty close to mint) are typically $475 - $500 asking price..... probably sell for $425 - $450.

No rings, no box. Maybe a tad high at $525 plus tax.

Well, rings are going to set you back another $60.... so you should deduct $ from the average going rate for used-but-nice 96/44 that normally comes with rings.

And even if you don't plan on putting a scope on the gun, you can use the fact that it doesn't come with factory rings as a bargaining chip.
