If you do a search you will get the result that 75 years is the longest classification, then you get the 50 year classification, then 25 years of classification. Now it's been more than 75 years since 1945, yet there are still classified items. So is it safe to assume that after 75 years an item can be reduced to a 50 year classified item, which then can be lowered to a 25 year classified item, which then can get reduced to the five levels of 12 year classifications. 75+50+25+ ( 12 x 5) 60 = 210 years. Do you think all the WWII items will finally become declassified 1945 + 210 = 2155? Or is this still to soon?

I am pretty sure there are things that will never be declassified. And they probably shouldn't be. But we probably aren't going to have to worry about that in the future. The way people with access to classified information spill their guts on a daily basis pretty much negates that.

Sometimes I think I should stop watching the History channel? Secrets Declassified comes on right after the Curse of Oak Island. Guess I've become an addict? 😩

Okay Jeepnik it's time you called XUSNORDIE, I gave up some of the goods. Trace Aircraft BUNO 154584 and 154585 prior to the involvement with VPU-2, yup I'll withhold the BUNO of those that eventually became part of VPU-1 and other CNO Special Project Unit Operations that were all codenamed prior to the 1980's.

Yeh definitely needed to edit for shorter reading rambled.
