Just wondering...., do most of you guys that own a fancy 50th anniversary 45-70 #1 shoot 'em/use 'em or are they safe queens that hardly see the light of day?
Hey, I displayed mine in Boise @ the RCA Show in January! & I will be displaying it in Ogden UGCA Show on March 10th & 11th, Does that count as using it? J/W
I havent shot mine though the original intent was, found a screaming deal on another number one in 45-70 and use that one all the time, killed a nice pig last spring in california with it
Been thru several #1 rifles, finally bought one plain enough to shoot. Not being a collector I try not to acquire anything that I can't justify using.

I have one that hasn't been shot, but it has black walnut replacement wood and it's for sale in the classifieds, so it may qualify for someone as a shooter.
