50th aniv 44 mag value?

It probly depends a bit on your location but I wanted one for a project and found one NIB not a mark on it 10 months ago and paid 500 which I actually thought might be a tad high but it was perfect and right there in front of me
I personally don't think there is any real collector value with these as people had hoped, just my opinion here but to me it's just a Blackhawk nothing more
However all it takes is finding the right person at the right time one never knows

I saw this question asked sometime back, not sure what forum, and the consensus was between $400 and $500. Problem was, a lot of them were made, because everyone thought the same thing. It would go up after some period of time. And it might go up, but the period of time, isn't near long enough. Probably looking at several more years, and then who knows if the people still living will have any interest at that time. Risk and reward, that's what it's all about. Good luck. There are still people that from time to time thinking they may like one of those but I think the magic number is above, MAYBE.

If you find the right guy you MIGHT get $500. If you don't, you MIGHT be lucky to get $400, or something in the middle.

I am not a collector, so FWIW ... I'd pay no more than what any factory new Ruger SA on the market sells for. I really like mine. It's a shooter, not a safe queen.
