500 Linebaugh - 525 WFN

Finally got a chance to test my 500 Linebaugh, 525 WFN load. I started with 25.0 of H110 which should be close to max. The initial session was 50 rounds through my SRH:

Here's a 5-shot group @ 25 yards:

I have no doubt the load and the gun can do better.....I wasn't "on" the other day. I'll be testing more this coming weekend and hope to get chrono data.

I have been using the 525gr for a few years now. The load I got from Jack Huntington is 28gr of H4227. It only clocks out at about 1050fps but imagine getting hit with it. No signs of excess pressure, the shells drop right out. You are right that its not punishing. Just a real big push.

Let's just say that I have soured on folks who insist that it's their way or the highway, especially when others sometimes do know better.
