4th of July festivities

Relaxing today after a busy few days, we took my mother, the wife and my son out for some festivities the last couple of days. A small rodeo in town with a little spot where you can visit the animals (versus the city where the animals are not as friendly) and yesterday to see some fireworks in town. In between I was playing around with the camera and got a few pictures in.

At the petting zoo, this one was eyeballing me so I decided to take advantage.





I haven't seen a goat this content in a while.





In between I got a couple of decent shots of the moon.






Last night was some fireworks, we had an up front seat for the show.

Great pictures! I love the chicken. And the fireworks! I've tried to get good firework pictures. Did you use a tripod? What was your camera set to? They really are good.

I didn't use a tripod I actually was able to get those one handed. I have a Sony DSC-H300 camera which actually has a fireworks setting.
