had this lil Handi rifle shortened by a guy on another forum and got it back today. turn around was about 4 days!

man what an awesome little gun! balance is great! cant wait to get it to the range. gonna load for 310 gr gas checked lead wide nose flat point. gonna play with a little trail boss to see what a case full will do at 100...

im stoked!

My first 12ga was a H&R Topper, and I've shot friends Long Tom 10ga and a 45-70 that was cool. Yours is pretty darn neat ! Ought to good chasing deer/boars around in the woods with. stevemb

I love these lil H&R's. lot of folks dont care for em but i have only had good results. My daughter uses a Topper 30-30 and when we do our part it shoots about 1/2-3/4" groups at 100.

I have this 444, a 30-30 Handi AND Topper, and a Classic Carbine in 45 Colt. Also have a frame at H&R now having a 7.62x39 barrel fitted. Plans for it include a cut and thread at 16.5" and youth stock. Then maybe one day add a suppressor.

A 444 Marlin is a real good caliber. Your gun looks nice, good luck with it.

Thanks yall. I like em too. I think this is the 5th i have owned hrough the years.

Currently this and a Marlin 444P. Have owned one other Handi and two older long barrel lever guns.

Really want an Encore handgun in that caliber too.

Lee that is a nice one. Heres my ither "shawty". I prefer em with a little more bluing than yours. Ha
