When the limited run of 6 1/2" .41 Magnum FlatTops came out, I snatched one up A.S.A.P. I wished for a 4 5/8" model, but didn't expect to ever see one. Well, now they're being made, but I don't know which distributor is handling them. Anybody know where to find them?

Williams' has the blued ones and the TALO distribution wholesalers have the stainless ones.

Sorry 'bout that...I was thinking about the .44 special stainless models. However...regarding a stainless flattop in .41 magnum...;)

My two came today, but they sent the wrong ones. Two STANDARD Blackhawks arrived today, so I'll have to call them in the morning to get it straightened out.

Same thing happened to me with the 3 I got. I stated twice to the saleslady that I wanted the flat top. I received the BN-41L which is the std model instead of the BN-414L. I talked to Mrs. Williams & she sent me a UPS pickup label in two days. Took a couple of weeks to get the correct guns.

My heart skipped a beat when I read above a reference to a stainless 41 Mag Flattop too....

I have really not had the time or money to buy more Rugers but I do keep hoping for a run of these in 45 Colt. Even if it is a blued gun, I would really like one although I am getting to the point I really need to question if I need one anymore

Sent the two standard models back a couple of weeks ago, and two 4 5/8" FlatTop .41s arrived a couple of days ago. I just picked up the first one today. Looks like I'd better get to casting boolits now.

Is cylinder fluted? What is cylinder length? Please specify with or without case inserted. A nice picture will be a VERY nice gesture for us 41 shooters.

What is barrel length on stainless one?

I just checked http://www.taloinc.com/strum_ruger.htm , looking for stainless 41 Magnum stainless but there is no such revolver there. I guess website folks are little behind. Anyhow, if they could get Ruger to make 6.5 stainless Bisley, that would be even more desirable gun to grab…

The .41 Mag flattops are built on the larger sized 50th Anniversary .44 flattop type cylinder frame.
There are no stainless .41 Mag flattops or regular Blackhawks. The only stainless flattop made so far is the TALO gun in 44 Special with a 4-5/8" barrel.
But I will agree with you...Ruger is behind on their website by several months again. There've now been 10 different "flattop" models produced (with 7 in current production), and the only ones currently listed are the 4-5/8" and 5-1/2" blue .44 Specials that Lipsey's had as an exclusive in 2009, but now produced by Ruger as regular production. I really think the distributors would sell more of these if Ruger kept their website up to date.
