I traded for this Colt Official Police at the gun show. Finish is a bit thin around the grip frame and trigger guard. Action and lock up is very good. Serial number dates it to 1943. A good solid well made revolver and the 38 spcl will still get the job done.
 
That's a virtual twin to the one my grandpa carried as a St Louis police officer. They're great shooting old-school revolvers.
