Sized .358 w/LBT Blue. Shot this bullet first in 1973 with a M28 S&W. It's been a favorite of mine in the M19 & 586. These pictured are for my Bisley.

In the pic the LBT Blue looks black !!
In the 28 do ya crimp over the front or trimm brass so ya can use the groove ???
The reason I ask cuz wanted to shoot a heavier boolit & did`nt like the crimp over the front so we trimmed brass .
He said it was the most accurate thing he`s ever shot out of the 28 !

In '73 I crimped over the front band. The recoil of a N Frame Smith isn't alot so the crimp needed wasn't much especially if the bullets were tight in the case. The other way is to load in 38 brass. These days I use this bullet in the Bisley & the Lyman 358156 in the 28.

Sweet. I got some that were 173 gr from a former member TxPete. Per his instructions I loaded them in .38 casings, but fired them in a .357. Accurate with plenty of punch.

Thanks WESHOOT2. These weren't as nice as some. Somehow I didn't brush the mould cavities before casting & they look a little rough. They should look like this

The bullet on the far right looks almost like a dead ringer but came from a Lee mold...(A 358429 clone I guess) My M-19 likes it too..

The 1 on the left is a Loverign design 30 caliber ????
It has bore riding front bands & full sized rear bands & of course a GC
The more I look at the Loverign boolit the more I think it`s full sized bands all the way !!
Now back to the button wc , sell me that mold , it`s fun to shoot 1 shot & have 3 holes on target !!!
