Interesting point: if you compare the nose design and profile between this and the new "Critical Defense" 357 load, it looks like they just took the LeverRevolution projectle and sliced the rubber nose off. And it's not impossible that's a large part of what they did - that, and they dropped the projectile weight from 140gr to 125. The Critical Defense is listed as "1,500fps" from a handgun (unknown barrel length).

Upshot: the 140gr flavor may not get up enough steam to work right in a wheelgun. I wouldn't use it for anything serious in that application. The Critical Defense 125gr version probably has more promise as a personal defense round.
