After buying one of these from CDNN last year for the fantastic price of $499 I sat on it for about 6 months. Couple of moths ago finally got around to bedding it (free floated the barrel) and changed out the trigger spring. Put a Leupold 2x7 on it and loaded up some 225 Hornady interlocks ahead of 50 grains of RL 15.
Finally hit the range today and put up a target at 25 yards and got the scope dialed in. Moved the target back to 100 and fired 3, 3 shot groups. Each group was approximately .8 to 1 inch with the only load ever tried.
Ruger hit a home run with this rifle. Feeds and ejects very nice, accurate, light, and factory iron sights. Dang near a perfect medium bore rifle.
