Took all three of my Ruger .327s to the range today: SP101 4", GP100 4" and single 7 7". Not suprisingly the Single 7 was the most accurate for me due to barrel length and very visible sights. My favorite to shoot was the GP100 and I think with a little work on the front sight it will be more accurate for me too. Hard for these old eyes to see the ramp sight as well the the blade on the Single 7. Took some long range 100 yard shots (guns are sighted in for 50 feet) and you don't have to use much Kentucky windage for the extra range. The .327 is a great round IMHO. Should be great out of the Henry rifles when they come available.
Oh, P.S. it was just about 60 degrees here in the Denver area today, supposed to be 8 on Saturday. Glad I could take advantage of the weather.
