Has Ruger ever made a 22mag SP101? I'd love to see them make an 8 round or 10 round SP101 with a 3" half-shroud barrel.

I found the .357 SP101 such a fine shooter, it is my main pistol now. Would like to see the gun you would love Ruger to build. My wife would too.

There's a possibility of a .22 Magnum SP, but I seriously doubt it'd outsell much of anything.
Ammo's too expensive to plink with & there really aren't that many people who hunt with the .22 Mag.

If you're thinking self-defense, many better choices.

I'd like to see Ruger build an SP101 in 22 LR! I am in the market for one and I can't seem to find one anywhere for sale.... The initial run seems to be sold out.

No dog in the hunt but have dealt with these folks before.

I don't think may of us "gun nuts" hunt with .22 WRM. But if you get out in the weeds and talk to the natives, you'll find that country people--there are a FEW left--use it a lot. For just about everything that needs shootin'.

It has taken the place of the old '20s--.32-20 and .25-20, and the .22 Hornet. Mostly in rifles from the 'ole Whalefart--Marlin and Savage and Mossberg bolts.
