Maybe not what you'd expect with that lead in but I needed to find a way to shoot up some of the big supply of 22 ammo I have. I bought most of the ammo 5-8 years ago when I was shooting some 22 rifle. But I never got around to it. I bought a new Single 10 and that didn't do the trick. So I am trying something new that will shoot it faster.

Put a Burris Fast Fire on it as my old eyes see nothing but fuzzy sights anymore. Also got a trigger kit for it and I'll be doing that tomorrow. Hope it works. :)

If you want to relieve yourself of some excess ammo at a fair price, let us know, it won't last a microsecond. Don 8)

Yup, that should burn up the ammo. I love those and have MkI, MkII, and MkIII pistols.

Now to burn it up faster you could get a Ruger 10/22 rifle and several of those 25 round mags.

I've got a 22/45 Lite that my daughter and I can go through quite a bit of ammo in an afternoon. My middle daughter is coming up from FL with her boyfriend next weekend and they both shoot too. All of us like the "space" gun. I have to admit, it is tough finding 22LR out there.

Any Ruger 22lr will eat up & burn through a 550 round brick mighty fast

Among other calibers we chew up at least 2 bricks every time

the secret is to get about 10 magazines for that pistol so that you don't have to load them as often..... personally the last thing my MKIII needs is a different trigger.

I think the last thing you want to do is modify a semi-auto pistol when it is new.... they need 5-700 rounds through them before making any changes. Just saying....

I hate you. And to prove it, I'll heartily recommend the McFadden Ultimate Mag Loader for use with your Mark. I'll guarantee that that obscene stockpile of ammo will be gone by day's end.

Yes indeedie, anyone offering .22LR ammo at a fair price won't have it very long. Still stunning, for the most part, we're used to seeing things like Federal bulk .22LR in large quantities at the local Walmart, none locally since the Dear Leaders reelection by morons.

Hopefully we may see things getting back to normal by Christmas???

Yeah, guns like the OP are easy to blow through lots of ammo, I'm certainly not short but I restrict what I shoot until the availability improves. My .22LR ammo destroyers are an SP22, .22/45 and Rem 597.

Happy 4th to forum members. Don
