First poster here.

I just picked up a 22/45 Lite and have a question although I probably know the answer. When I attached a suppressor, I noticed the action is rotating a little bit back and forth like the barrel nut might be loose. This is probably not a normal situation and the gun should go back to the dealer ASAP, right?

I'd say the action is rocking back and forth a good 0.030" and it does it whether or not the bolt is closed or open and it also does it when the thread protector is screwed on. I didn't notice this at the dealer.

Thanks

I found it. There are three screws on the top of the receiver that are used to secure the optional Weaver rail. The middle screw tightens into the receiver proper and this screw was loose. Tightening this screw fixes everything.

Highstandardguy, that is so funny...

I'm glad you fixed the issue. I have a Browning Buckmark Contour. It has a full length top rail. Really quite annonying. Three screws also, and if they become loose the rail and thus sights will wobble.

Anyhow. Loc tite or the screw will become loose again...

Loc tite or the screw will become loose again...

And make sure you use blue Loctite, or even better, purple Loctite.

And be sure to degrease the screws and the threaded holes before you apply the Loctite.

If you use red Loctite, you will likely never be able to remove the screws again.
