Things have been really slow. I ended the day w/o seeing a buck bigger than 6 point and the boys didn't see anything shot worthy at the north farm although they sat all day. We're not ready to start shooting does yet--colder weather will arrive some day.
I had a lot of does/fawns out last evening but only a couple of little bucks roaming the fields. In fact, I had to wait until dark and make some coyote howls/barks to move the does away far enough to leave my blind w/o teaching them what that funny object really was. Going to another field this morning based on wind direction and accessibility.
