2021 SHOT Show cancelled

I got my notice today that the 2021 SHOT Show has been cancelled.
Citing the current rise in Covid-19 cases,, the uncertainty of the future, and the time it takes to put the show together,,, they have chosen to cancel it.

This I like. I try not to comment on issues of contention mainly because some folks are pretty adamant about their positions and don't leave much room for dissenting ones. This seems to me like a better place to put donations benefitting firearm sports than the NRA, at least currently with their leadership issues and the focus on all things "tactical". I think I'll go to their website and see if I can donate as a private citizen, even tho it may not be much $. I became a lifetime member of the NRA way back when the emphasis was on firearm training and safety and hunting. My FIL was an NRA firearm safety instructor for many years, and I was an enthusiastic member for a long time. Lately not so much.

And by the way, I don't think anyone condones the rioting, looting and burning. There are radicals in every movement, including the firearm owners that form militias that want to kidnap governors.
