2016 Ruger No.1 Plan

Anyone know the status of the 257 Wby? Lipsey's website still shows it. Last I'd read, there were some dregs from 2015, none of them with particularly nice wood.

Some were made just before the 2016 production started. I have a couple available; wood is about like earlier rifles. It's Circassian, but nothing very special.

If doing a 44 might we hold hope for a 45 / 454 chambering, pretty please

I'm no No.1 expert,
However I think the 460 S&W was produced at one time, covering the 45/454C.
They might do another run?

I just checked Lipsey's dealer site, still not showing the 308rsi. On the other hand, they have 243 V's and 35 S's ready to ship. Bob! :D

Ruger now showing all 2016 models, suppose Lipseys won't list until they get shipments?

A great selection of calibers for 2016.
I am a #1 enthusiast and have owned about ten different #1's over my lifetime.
I currently have the .204 Ruger, the .30/06 Lipseys 2015 (nice rifle) shoots great, the .405 win (my favorite #1 of all time), and the .45/70 stainless.

I would rather have seen the 6.5 Creedmoor in the #1 V.
I would also like the #1 RSI stainless in .308 win.
I have a Hawkeye International stainless in .308 win, and it is a fine hunting rifle.

I would also love to have the .35 Whelen for shooting cast bullets, but can't afford to buy one right now.

I see where Lipsey's got in a large order of Rugers today, including 50 #1B's in 6.5 CM and a few more 243V's and 35 Whelen S's. Lots of 6.5 Predators and other Americans as well. Bob!! :D

My rep did not call me, but there were seven left when I got to the computer. Six left now.

GAO, did you get the 6.5 CM? If so, you will have to report on how it shoots. BTW, I see that Federal is making a match load now in 6.5 CM. Bob!!

Since Lipsey's is in Baton Rouge if I recall correctly, I hope they weren't
hit with all that flooding recently. :( I would love a 1B in 6.5 Creedmore. :D

I think Lipsey's missed the flood but it sounds like at least some of their staff had flooding issues. From their Facebook page...

Dear Lipsey’s Friends,
Due to the unprecedented flooding in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, at this time our facility is unable to be reached safely by our team. As of Monday morning we will not be open for the day but are monitoring the situation hourly.
The Lipsey’s distribution center itself appears to be in good condition so once we can safely reach the facility we will be back up and running.
We are currently working to help many of our Lipsey’s team members who have been displaced from their homes and experienced significant loss of property. We are also lending any support we can to our community as we wait for the water to recede.
We thank you and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
- The Lipsey’s Team
