2015 Pronghorn Antelope

Monday, 10/05/15, Lady Luck and marksmanship joined forces to produce this nice Pronghorn here in the Texas panhandle. Shot with a pre-war winchester model 70 .257 at 250 yards. Not my best effort but a notable speed goat in anyones book . Dr.C

What a lucky antelope to be killed with a classic old Winchester rifle chambered for the best quarter bore catridge ever made. Thanks Doc.

Classy rifle, classy caliber and one classy trophy. Well done sir. Just one thing tho, you're supposed to light those things. thanks for sharing.

muzzleloader: I understand and I did light on the way to the locker but I was wrestling around with this thing by myself in the middle of a thousand acres of dry grass. :mrgreen: Dr.C Ps. since I had a stroke I only allow myself one of these on very special occasions :wink:
