Here is one I've had since 1976, the 200th year of American Liberty.
.300 Win Mag, stock birdseye maple and rosewood, 3 X9 Redfield scope.

Wow Larry. I was just over in the revolver section admiring your Flat Top, and now you pull this out. Very nice.

That is gorgeous! Were all rifle barrels marked that way in 1976?

All Ruger firearms produced in 1976 were rollmarked:
"MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY"
Rifles, carbines, revolvers, and autoloading pistols. I have an M77 Rifle in .30-06 that is so marked.

Very sharp and different. How does she shoot.

This rifle is going on the market soon. I haven't fired it in about 20 years but I will be going out with all the firearms that I am selling to shoot for the last time. The last that I recall I was 3 shoot grouping (off hand) in the black at 200 yards.

Unfortunately, the places that I used to shoot are now "off limits" as far as firearms are concerned. I really have no place to shoot at those distances, also as I said earlier along with the rifle "I" haven't shot a firearm in that amount of years so my accuracy is certainly in question.

As wwb said "all" products of Ruger that year were so marked. I used to have a new model super blackhawk from 76. Now I have the No 1 and a stainless security six from 76.
