2 nice Winchester 70s

I did these 2 Winchesters since its a weekend.No i had them out for a cleaning later.Always said they were identical except the 30/06+270 part.But i just noticed that 1 has higher rings and 1 has the ring bolts up through the bottom.I think i have another short set but there good enough.I was thinking of selling these to fund my Remington 600 love affair

Those look nice! Dad had a 70 in 06 when i was a kid. He could do magic with that gun. I watched him pick off a goat drinking at a pond. When they spooked and took off, he then rolled two more goats running full speed across our pasture before they hit the woods. Range was about 450 yards and he was leaning against a tree. It wasnt all the gun but it def was an accurate one.

Oh, and the goats were some that had gone wild and we couldnt catch but had to get rid of as they were eating the neighbors newly planted pines. Them goats sure ate good.
