2 3/4” Security Six value?

What does the forum brain trust think might be a value on this? It is in gently used superb condition. I doubt I’ve put 100 rounds through it. Not sure yet about selling but have been considering it.

Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to take the t-grip off if they are an available item and not a hard to find sought after thing.

In my experience the new Tyler Tee grips do not fit like the old ones do. I believe the old ones are worth more than a new one.

Also dealing with them is a nightmare. It took several months to get the one I ordered directly.

The T-Grip is secondary. It is worth nothing to me, but the revolver is 600 to 700 bucks.

I tend to agree with hittman's $800 give or take assessment. Not a common configuration. While not terribly rare, the Adjustable sight Security Six is far more common in the longer barrel lengths. And boxed w/shipper adds value. I just bought the same package minus the T-Grip last year and ended up all in w/shipping at $615 and felt like I got a screaming good deal on it. When I got it in, I decided it was so nice (maybe unfired) that I would keep it instead of reselling it. But had I decided to sell it, I would likely have asked $785 shipped ($750 + $35 shipping). Add the T-Grip value (maybe $25 used) and you're right there at hittman's $800ish.

But if I were looking at yours as a buyer, I would not give extra for the T-Grip since I am mostly a collector and wouldn't be shooting it. So I would end up selling the T-Grip separately.

It's a nice gun. Mine is rougher and doesn't have all the goodies. But it's a fine shooter, and was my Dad's pride and joy. I gave it to him as a present for being my best man.

Its in my avatar too with fake ivory grips he bought for it and his pipe.

I agree on the $800 value for yours. Its a nice package.

Would I pay $800 for what is shown (if I needed it), YES (and I'm a cheap bas.., errr, skate :)). The box and shipper add a lot for a collector, the T-Grip, not so much. I, like others would either sell it or putit on one of my shooters.
