Well, not a candy store, but you now what I mean. :D Stopped by a shop I hadn't been to in awhile and they had a couple of #1's I haven't seen until now.
One was a 1A Lipsey's 35 Whelen blue/walnut. It had pretty plain wood, but still a hard to find gun.
The other was a 1S 300 H&H. This just came in the door and is a catalog item. It had ok wood, with some character.
The kicker here is that both were under $850. :shock: To me that is a good price indeed. I already have the stainless 35 Whelen, but that 1S is beckoning me to buy it. :D Just maybe..... :wink:
