1022 kidd trigger reset probs

Does a kidd trigger have a heavier hammer spring? Inherited 1022 w volq 9twist, kidd trigger,bolt,guiderod, handle. All recoil springs it's ok w Ag60sss (til ftfeed at 50 or so rds). Shoots 40gr std and hv ok w -10 spring, but fails to reset and occasionally doubles w standard and +10. Have had trigger in 2 other rifles and with factory bolts. Same reset/doubling issues. Have tried all combos multiple times. Kidd couldn't say over phone but offered to check trigger. Any ideas?
