I bought 500 100gr lead bullets and they won't work in my single seven, I guess I'll buy 32 hr brass for them.
100 gr don't fit.

Yes what bullets? I am torn with this pistol. I don't know how much if any actual 327 reloading I am going to do. Most likely I will be like you and load much more 32 mag mid to high level loads than full bore 327's. The American Eagle 100 grains shoot really well in my pistol and I think a couple boxes will cover most every 327 round I need.

They are sns 100gr flat nose I just looked and they have a 90gr that looks like it will work, oh well I'll just load these I 32 hr brass my wife likes to shooting this gun so light 32 h&r loads will keep her smiling.I think I'll load hornady 85 for the magnum.
Hey Bob, in what way Don't they "work"? Too long, leading, accuracy etc?

To long I could trim my mag brass but its new Star line brass so I'll just load those in 32 mag brass, though I was surprised they were to long.

For my 7.5in Single Seven, the maximum overall length is right at 1.500 inch. Thus, the nose can not be longer than 0.300in. A nose of 0.250 - 0.285in is a better choice. Many commercially available 32 cal lead bullets are designed for the 32-20 and might have too long a nose.

I imagine I'll load most cast bullets for the 32 HRM also, and then load the sizzlin' jacketed loads in the 327 FM. Although I imagine there will be some cast bullets with gas checks made up for the 327.

Cast Performance makes a 95 gr Keith style and also a 113 gr gas checked that I've been loading. Neither is too long.

Crimp over the front driving band just like you would have to do with the heavier Keith bullets in the .357 or .44mag. you may have to reduce the charges due to reduced case volume.

Rim Rock makes a 130 gr. SWC that crimped in the groove fits my 327's.

I like the Lyman 311008 115 gr. PB bullet in the .32's. It has no crimp groove and has to be crimped over the front driving band if roll crimped in a standard die. It is very accurate in both my rifles and pistol.
