Picked up a used (barely) synthetic version for the wife to shoot (at her request) because it is light weight. It did not come with a box but it is synthetic stock, stainless tapered barrel with sights, black receiver. Trigger group is the new plastic version. SN is 356-XXXXX so it was made 2010. Anyone know the model number? Can't find it in the catalog. Only synthetis all silver or tactical.

Being that it was used, it could be wearing a different barrel than it left the factory with. They aren't difficult to change.

I purchased a new 10/22 from cabelas in march last year. The rifle was black synthetic, stainless barrel with a black receiver. same trigger housing. Just as you described.My serial no. is 356-99xxx. My box says it is a model 01240 stainless w/bla. It also said catalog no. k10/22-rpb. I hope this was useful, not often i get to throw in my 2 cents lol.

Welcome to the forum. I was in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago. Went to Cargo Largo in the limestone caves with a brother-in-law to pick up some items, then to Liberty to Great Guns and on to Cabela's on the Kansas side. I always have to hit the high spots when in the KC area.

could be a Cabelas exclusive. They have a store 30 miles from here. I think it was all factory just because it looked unfired or fired very very little. Thanks for the info.
