Does anyone else think this is one of the ugliest guns Ruger has ever offered? It looks like something issued to road crews to protect themselves from rabid skunks. On a positive note, I suppose it would be hard to misplace in the field.

Are you talking about the laminated wood stock? The distributor exclusive model? I kind of like it. But then orange is my favorite color.

Look at the wood grips Volquartsen used to offer for the Mark pistols. They were Red and Yellow and Blue. Pretty vibrant colors.

At least they are breaking away from the boring brown beech wood stock which was the only choice say 10 years ago.

Not much worse than the "international" stock ..... wow those are hideous.

I’m not a fan but if they sell, then why not?

My opinion the old finger groove sporters are the very best looking 10/22’s ever made. The standard version should have been an m1 carbine clone, with the Oiler cut out and military style sling.

Totally agree!
