Can anybody tell me the model name if it has one of a 10/22 carbine I just bought? Stainless barrel with stainless-colored receiver. The black synthetic stock is kind of skeletonized with a large Ruger in the middle of the butt-stock on both sides. Made in '99. I'm just wondering if these had a model name or number. I kind of remember when Ruger also made deer-caliber rifles with the same basic type of stock.

Yeah, that's the one. Thanks, and thanks for the welcome. I like the little carbine. I've had a few 10/22's. This one has a nice, clean look.

Most folks refer to that stock as a "boat paddle", as their later and current synthetics do not have the inset Ruger logo in the butt.

Hate to say it, but that's what I would have maybe called it when I first saw that type of Ruger stock about 20 years ago. I thought they had lost their minds. Now it looks like that style actually sells for a bit more depending on the model? At least I thought I saw a deer caliber rifle like that going for good money. It's taken me 20 years to get used to the look of that. Not too bad now. Not bad at all.
