10/22 Takedown Stock, Hogue Sporter?

Hi everybody,
Looking for opinions/recommendations for a replacement stock for my 10/22 TD. I like the Hogue offerings but I've read some reviews that the fore end fit is sloppy due the lack of a barrel band or bedding. Any thoughts? Anybody know of an aftermarket band that fits (besides homemade versions)?
