10-22 takedown scope?

Okay looking for a scope that will fit on the take down with it still fitting back in the bag that Ruger supplies with the gun. Will a leupold rimfire fit or a vx2 2-7? Need some help removed the micro site because of clearance issue but want to be able to take it down and still fit in the nifty bag. thanks Bob

I got a 3.9x40 scope for my 10/22 Take Down.
It is way too long, and won't fit in the bag attached to the gun.
Decided to use a red dot instead. Works fine.
I only do indoor target shooting, so the red dot is ok for my purpose.

The UTG "Bugbuster" will just barely fit in the bag if you want a 3-9 with an adjustable objective. If you just want a low power scope for plinking the little Cricket scope is perfect.

I have a Burris 4X compact that fits nicely in the bag. This scope is discontinued but they show up on eBay.
