10-22 "tactical"

I'm looking at a take-off barrel on e^&y described as from a 10-22 "tactical" with the Tapco stock. Is the muzzle device threaded on with standard 1/2x28 threads?

Unless from a state requiring it be permanently attached, yes.

At this time the barrel is going for less than it costs to have one I already have on the shelf threaded. Just wanted to be more sure this is factory threaded for 1/2x28.

It could be pinned... I'd make sure before buying. Just because someone says 'tactical' does not mean the barrel is actually from a factory tactical rifle.

I checked the Ruger website but it doesn't give that info on the spec sheet.
