Have you taken it out of the stock to see if it is a wood or synthetic stock? It appears to me someone simply painted it with some rattle can textured paint that you can get at wally world or about any hardware store.

Yeah , finally took it out. It is wood, when I first got it it just felt heavier.

For the scope, I'm see from pic the letters 'EEMAN, which is saying this is a pellet gun scope made for the Beeman pellet guns. They're built stronger to take springer recoils which can knock out the most expensive scopes, if they're not built to take reverse recoils that a springer gun can cause.

With regard to the aftermarket stock extension/butt pad, it looks like this one:

For many years, it (or similar one) was advertised by a common aftermarket supplier… maybe TAPCO? (Don't see it on their site, right now.)

All I can Find on the Beeman Blue Ribbon Model 66R is that they are very fine scopes, most likely made in Japan by Hakko. Have Adjustable Objectives and found one on airgunwarriors.com/classified that the seller is looking to get $350 out of it. On another site, the owner said it had been on his 30/06 for 20 years with no issues. Looks like you got a nice setup.

@akmania, that ring is tight due to not being used in a long time. When used regularly, the scope's grease on it is spread around from that usage. If you have some pellet gun synthetic oil w/needle tip, you can shoot some oil lightly around the perimenter and tip the scope on its end to let the oil spread down to the seal to help loosen it up. If you have another synthetic gun oil, I'm sure it will work also.

I use Magnum Airpower oil in all my pellet gun seals. It was a online order, but it's great stuff and doesn't take much to work to keep my gun's air chamber seals and other gun seals in top condition.

I get it also on my older hunt scopes. A person will adjust to the power they want and not move it in years, and the seal will stick to that area from grease drying out or non-usage over time.
