Some have mentioned the 10/22 Finger Groove was the nicest 10/22 ever made. The lines of the Monte Carlo Stock was very popular in the mid to late 1960's.
I really like the nice Walnut of the day and over time it's just got better.

Absolutely Beautiful,,, and the vintage Walnut!

Very nice pictures.

Another simple feature of the early guns is the double curve front sight, elegant.

I don't have a finger groove 10-22 but I am sure that if I did I would enjoy it.
I do have 3 Internationals, 1 is a TALO with fish scale checkering and the other 2 were made up from other 10-22's when I found International stocks to build them. All 3 have BX triggers which makes them even better in my opinion.
I also have 2 10-22's with straight grip stocks and 16 inch barrels that I built from standard carbines. They also have the BX triggers in them and are an absolute delight to carry and shoot.
