10/22 Compact

What can you guys tell me about the 10/22 Compact? Does it accept the same stocks as regular 10/22's? I have never seen one before this one I picked up today for $175, I love the short 16" barrel but might put another stock on it, something a tad longer.

Yes, full size stocks fit. At one time I put a DSP stock on a Compact. Nice short gun with a really nice stock.

Thanks Wayno, can't wait to get out and shoot it. Just picked up a bucket of 1400rds and plan on putting a dent in it with this gun!

16" barrel on a 22lr is much more practical.... good deal, wish I could find one like that.
