SBH4628, For a 1965 10/22 in that condition, I would have left the flea market with it! Hope you get a second chance at it. I personally prefer the older 10/22's. I feel they had a lot better quality control than is the case today. I've got a 1967 Model I shoot squirrels with just about every day. It would be one of the last of my guns to go if I had to get rid of some of them!.........................Dick :wink:
I was at the New Orleans gun show a couple of weeks ago. Mid size show, not a mega show. But, there was not ONE 10/22 for sale. Jump on it. It has the older metal trigger housing which is going for about $50 bucks on it own now.
