The holster looks good but I think you are right, it would be too bulky. I am looking for a holster with a retention strap. Looks like Uncle Mike's has a cheap one for sale but more than likely I will end up with a Kholster or Com-Tac, they look pretty comfortable. Thanks.

I would quit pondering and make the move. Yes I have shot both and the Ruger feels much better overall and the trigger is better. I found less muzzle flip with the Ruger.

Took it to the range Sunday and had 0 problems. I had more fun firing it than my XDM .40 which I love too. It is a nice feeling to have such a great first outing for a new gun.
